Up-Coming Carnivals:
Why not come along and have some fun at one of the
carnivals we are attending. Don't forget we take the 'PB basket'!
This is a basket filled with fun items for any swimmer who achieves a PB
on the day.
Carnivals are a wonderful opportunity to mix with
other club members and helps to foster a great Club spirit. There
are many carnivals held at various venues throughout the season.
There are lots of 'A' grade meets for those who are up to it, and also
many 'Novice' meets. There is something for everyone, even
beginners, and you never know, you may even win a medal!
If you think you might like to give a carnival a go,
speak with Nicala Harris, our Race Secretary. Come along, wear all
your green Bellbowrie gear, and have a super day! All carnivals on offer will be listed here as
details become available.
How to
nominate for carnivals:

Obtain nomination form from our Race Secretary,
Nicala Harris.

Fill out form.

Place money (cash or cheque
- made out to BSC) for nomination in envelope - with name,
carnival and amount on the front.

Place nomination envelope
in box provided.

Write details of carnival
in your diary!

- no nomination accepted.
What to Bring:
As most carnivals are outdoors, we usually take our Club
canopy. You may need to bring your own chairs, as there is rarely
enough seating.
At most carnivals, swimmers are required to wear swimming
caps. It is also wise to bring several towels, goggles, a change
of clothes, sun block, healthy snacks (there is usually a canteen/ BBQ),
water bottles, and perhaps a quiet game to play when not swimming.
